I enjoyed reading this new, first-in-the-series story by Angelique Conger. She is a master storyteller and can truly bring her characters to life. The book is extremely well written, has great plot development, and much depth to the characters. I really enjoyed imagining the travels of our ancient ancestors as they search for a new home and the experiences they encountered. Ms. Conger weaves an interesting story about matriarch Egyptus and her family as they travel into the unknown, trusting Jehovah to protect and guide them. I look forward to reading more in the series.
