For those of you who have been waiting, for all the time it took, the next book in the Women of the Covenant series is ready for you to purchase!

I'm excited to see what you think of this book.

Rachel, Mother of the Covenant is now available on (almost) all bookseller sites as an ebook. The ebook will become available on January 29, 2025, on Amazon. The paperback is currently available on Amazon.

Also:

I have opened a bookseller site on Curios.com/AConger where some of my books are currently available. All the published Women of the Covenant series is available, as well as Eve, First Matriarch.

I am re-editing the older books before uploading them to this website, making them as error free as I can. I will be adding other books as fast as I can. But since I am deep in edidting nnew books, it may take a while to get all 29 of my backlist edited and uploaded. Check back often. I will also let you know here when I add new books.

Some days it just doesn’t pay!

I opened my computer the other day to write my weekly newsletter [Are you a member? You can get a free short story when you join here.] I had it written and ready to upload, when I see, “Your website isn’t authenticated.”
Lovely.
I had 15 minutes that day to get it uploaded and sent out. But no. 5 days later I still haven’t fixed it. GRRR. I’ve asked 2 of the companies I pay to do that to help me. Neither is much help. I have one more person to ask. I hope they can help. I don’t really want to start over with my website. I like this one.

Wildfires in California

Wildfires have burned parts of Los Angeles since Wednesday, and it doesn't look they will be put out anytime soon. It has been horrifying to watch homes burn and people race toward safety through congested streets. Our prayers are with all impacted by this terrible event. May our Father in Heaven bless and protect you.

Homes and property are vital, but your lives are most important.

Please stay safe and keep your animals safe.

New Year, New Goals and Plans

2025 is in full swing! We've lived seven days of it already. A whole week. It won't be long until we are saying, "Where did 2025 go?"

In evaluating my writing progress against my 2024 goals, I find I did really well in some and not so good in others. For instance, I moved all my books to "wide" sales, meaning they are available on most platforms and in most libraries now, though you may have to ask for them. :) However, I did not get any of my books read and ready for audiobooks. :( Perhaps I can get that going for this year.

I wrote two more books in my Women of the Covenant series last year :); but the other four are still in progress that are taking much longer than I expected. :( My brain isn't handling four books at once very well. But I am making progress.

Marketing continues to be a trial, but I have plans and hopes for that, too.

'Tis the Season

It's December, the time when we celebrate the end of the year along with many religious holidays. I celebrate Christmas, the birth of the Savior, along with other Christians. Others celebrate Hanukkah, which comes at almost the same time of the year. Some may celebrate Kwanza or other special days.

Although we often forget the back stories of our holidays, these are mostly holy days. We give gifts to family and loved ones, a we remember the purpose of our holy days.

In our home, we set up a tree, my husband's collection of nutcrackers, and my collection of tiny nativities. We hope to have a big family dinner either on Christmas Eve or the night before. We share gifts with each other and our neighbors. I plan to give treats to my neighbors.

But most importantly, we remember the birth of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. In my home, we read of His birth and remember His life.

We remember the life of Jesus Christ all year long, but this time of year is special, when everyone lights their home and lives with His light.

May you have a joyful Hol(y)day season as you celebrate the day of your choice.
