Angelique Conger discovered the wonders of writing books later in her life. Books, however, have always been important to her. As a little girl in a small town, she received a library card of her own at the tender age of five, unusual in those days. She made good use of it.
Angelique reads a book, or three at once, much of the time. She reads most genres of books and, until a few years ago, only toyed with writing them. Since beginning her creative journey, she has spent hours each day learning the craft of writing and editing.
Angelique lives in Southern Nevada with her husband and two cats, who show love by sharing her pillow and sleeping at her feet. She enjoys visits from her grandchildren and their parents.

I opened my computer the other day to write my weekly newsletter [Are you a member? You can get a free short story when you join here.] I had it written and ready to upload, when I see, “Your website isn’t authenticated.” Lovely. Wildfires have burned parts of Los Angeles since Wednesday, and it doesn't look they will be put out anytime soon. It has been horrifying to watch homes burn and people race toward safety through congested streets. Our prayers are with all impacted by this terrible event. May our Father in Heaven bless and protect you.
