Book #1 from the series: Struggle for Limhah

Combating Cults

About

Attacking men …
Spinning staff …

Elke decided fear won’t share her life anymore. She has become competent with the staff and expects to protect herself.

But four men at once?
And a baby on her back?

Priests from Nod believe people in Limhah owe them donation coins, even though they left Nod and its laws three years earlier. If they can’t get coins, they’ll take women as slaves.

Not if Elke and her staff have anything to say about it!
Not if her husband, Ormh, can prevent it.

Combating Cults is the first in the new trilogy, Struggle for Limhah, set in the world of Lost Children of the Prophets. Immerse yourself in the conflict and join Elke and Ormh in Limhah as they trust in Jehovah for their safety.

Praise for this book

Elke and Ormh are starting a new family, and a new life in a new community - away from the cults and their demands for tribute. Leaving the cities comes with some hardships, but many rewards. Unfortunately, the cults are not about to leave their flourishing new community alone for long! Elke will no longer be a victim though - read this exciting story about how she and the other women in her community work together to protect and defend their home, always seeking the Lord's wisdom in choosing the right path.

Another excellent imagining of what it might have been like for women living in Biblical times. This story follows a married couple with an infant daughter and shows a more mature romance. I enjoyed how the conflict in this book ranged from hand to hand combat and battle to overarching ethical dilemmas to more mundane everyday concerns. Everyone is important and listened to, from the community leaders to the youngest child. There were difficult decisions that brought sorrow, brave actions that inspired confidence, and love of every kind that brought true joy.

Combating Cults is the first book in a new series. If you have read Lost Children of the Prophets series you will recognize some characters, however, this is the story of a new generation and it is not necessary to have read those books to fully enjoy this.
