A young woman trader traveling with her father also has a mission to help someone find her lost children. She brings out a string of beads. Not something she does normally but she just had a feeling at this home they came to. It pays off and there she finds a happiness by sharing a special book. There are times of struggle but she finds love and comfort. It has so much intrigue in this series that every story in the series makes you want more. You can't put it down. This is one of my favorites in the series. Angelique Conger has such a unique way of writing.
